Day 2: Moshi/Arusha to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

• Altitude: Marangu Gate (1,860 meters) to Mandara Hut (2,700 meters)
• Activity: Registration at the gate, meet guides and porters, begin trekking through rainforest.

Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
